In this show, Marcus' first tribute of any kind, he covers not only one of the great influences on his own work, but one of the most enduring concert and recording artists of all time. "Answer Me," "Wonderful, Wonderful," "Misty," "There Goes My Heart," "It's Not For Me To Say," and "Chances Are" are among the towering hits which Johnny Mathis has enjoyed over more than five decades as a chart-topping icon.
Marcus will bring his own special magic to the songs Johnny made famous, as well as offer a personal homage to the man for whom Columbia Records pioneered the "greatest hits" album, now an industry tradition. Johnny Mathis, who began his career on small stages in San Francisco and New York, continues to sell out Radio City Music Hall and still holds the record for continuous weeks (490) of being on the Billboard Top Albums Chart.
"This is the show that he was born to perform!
At last, Marcus & Mathis are joined into
one of the finest shows of his career."
— Gregg Culling, cabaret aficionado
